Cosmetic dental services we offer
- Professional teeth whitening — in-office and take-home options; brighten your smile by several shades in a single session or gradually over 1–2 weeks
- Composite bonding — tooth-colored resin applied to correct chips, cracks, gaps, or stains; often completed in a single appointment
- Porcelain veneers — thin ceramic shells custom-crafted to change the color, shape, size, or length of teeth; natural appearance and long-lasting results
- Smile consultations — a no-pressure conversation to discuss goals, review options, and understand realistic outcomes and costs before committing
What to expect at a cosmetic consultation
We begin with photos and a detailed conversation about what you like and dislike about your current smile. Dr. Kovvuri reviews your dental health, discusses which treatments are appropriate, and explains outcomes honestly—including limitations. Written cost estimates are provided before any treatment begins. There is no commitment at this stage.
Important note: whitening does not change the shade of existing crowns, veneers, or bonding. We will always tell you this up front.

Cosmetic dentistry questions
How long does teeth whitening take?
In-office whitening can brighten your smile by several shades in a single appointment. Take-home trays offer a more gradual result over one to two weeks. We discuss which option fits your goals and timeline at your consultation—and note up front that whitening does not change the color of existing crowns, veneers, or bonding.
What’s the difference between veneers and bonding?
Bonding uses tooth-colored resin applied directly to the tooth to fix chips, gaps, or stains—usually finished in one visit. Veneers are thin custom ceramic shells bonded over the front of the tooth, offering a more durable, stain-resistant result for larger changes in shape or color. We discuss which fits your goals and budget at your consultation.
Is professional teeth whitening safe?
Whitening supervised by a dentist is considered safe for most patients with healthy teeth and gums. We evaluate candidacy first—patients with active cavities or gum issues are treated before whitening is considered.
